Dr. Jeevan Kankaria has completed his M.B.B.S from Govt. Medical College & MBS Group of Hospitals, Kota. He completed his post graduation in department of general surgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
Dr. Jeevan Kankaria took his professional experience while serving as Senior Resident Doctor, Department of Oncosurgery in Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital. Then he joined as an Assistant professor in SMS Hospital, Jaipur, he worked for 7 years in the same department, then he was promoted as an Associate Professor in Department of General Surgery.
Since then, he has been continuously updating him self in various procedures and he has done more than 20000 successful laparoscopic surgeries.
He is also considered as one of the best renowned surgeon in India for laparoscopic billiary surgery, especially cholecystectomy. He has performed more than 15000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies without any complications.
He has been doing wonders in the field of gallbladder surgery and has performed all types of difficult laparoscopic cholecystectomies which include – Longest gall bladder of the world (25.8cm), Laparoscopic cholecystectomy in youngest patient (2 years old child) as well as Laparoscopic cholecystectomy in oldest patient (109 years old male). For these surgeries he has also been awarded with two ‘Guinness world Records’ and the third one is awaited.
He is one of the Fastest Growing surgeon in Bariatric and metabolic surgery in Rajasthan and has potential to achieve more, for it he has also been trained from IRCAD, Taiwan. Nomination of Dr Jeevan will bring a big value addition in to his practice.

Guinness World Record :
1. Name included in Guinness Book of world record on 29th Nov.2012 for removal of longest Gall bladder i.e. 25.8cm laproscopically (previously the record was by the name Mohd. Naim Taj –Pakistan -25.5 cm.)
2. Another record made for removal of gall bladder laparoscopically from the youngest person (Mazhar Khan, 2 years old), on 27th May 2015
3. Another record for the removal of gallbladder laparoscopically from the oldest person (Abdul Rahim, 109 years old) is AWAITED.
