About Institute
The eighth Indian Institute of Management was established in Rohtak on November 16, 2009. Enabling the institute to maintain the integrity of this noble legacy is the able mentorship of IIM Lucknow, an institute which is itself celebrated its 25th year of existence. IIM Rohtak aspires to impart knowledge of business disciplines with a unique cross-functional perspective to prepare ethical and innovative leaders for the good of not just the nation, but the world. We seek to build in our students advanced leadership skills, an appreciation for the impact of management systems on the working of organizations, and an understanding of the strategic, economic and operating significance of even the smallest of events in the current and foreseeable socio-economic scenario. The Institute has now shifted in its own campus, in an area of over 200 acres in the nearby township of Sunaria. But our biggest assets include its students, who are from different parts of the country, bringing diverse educational and cultural backgrounds and work experiences to the institute. It is this diversity along with the ideas and experience of a diverse faculty base that contributes to the furtherance of the idea of thinking global and acting local.

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak is a premier Institute of management education in India. The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) of the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak is a full-time doctoral programme offered in various specializations. The programme duration is four years. The participants are given a monthly fellowship, a contingency grant, waiver of tuition fees, support to attend national international/national conferences and support for research visits to global partner institutions.
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)) at IIM Rohtak strives to incorporate the strengths of similar programmes in other IIMs and other major institutions and has included specific innovative features as per the emerging needs. The FPM programme is in line with the vision of the institute to be a global leader in the creation and dissemination of knowledge in management and to be India’s future global learning center like the ancient Nalanda was.
