INSA Medal for Young Scientists:

INSA Medal for Young Scientists 2022 is an initiative by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) for young scientists below 40 years of age. The aim of this award is to distinguish young scientists for their extraordinary promise, creativity and notable research contributions in Science and Technology. The award has been solely managed and funded by INSA. The selected 40 awardees will receive a medal, a certificate and an honorarium of INR 1,00,000 each.

Eligibility :  an applicant must –

• Be a citizen of India
• Be a young scientist below 40 years of age as of December 31 of the year preceding the year of the award

Benefits : The selected 40 awardees will receive a medal, a certificate and an honorarium of INR 1,00,000 each.
