NATIONAL POWER TRAINING INSTITUTE, BANGALORE
Power Systems Training Institute (PSTI) is conducting high-quality training courses in various facets of power systems since 1972. It is an established name in the Indian power sector. PSTI is located in its own 18 acre campus with office buildings, Laboratories, hostel, Guest house, Canteens, and Residential colony. The Institute is headed by a Principal Director.
In the context of acute need for properly trained personnel to man the various state and regional load despatch centres, Central Electricity Authority (CEA) which is an attached office of Ministry of Power, Government of India established Load Despatch Training Institute(LDTI) at Bangalore in 1972. Training courses on economic load despatch techniques were conducted. The institute was renamed as Power Systems Training Institute (PSTI) in 1975, in order to cover other facets of power systems also. With effect from 1st April 2002, PSTI is merged with National Power Training Institute (NPTI) which is an ISO 9001:2000 organisation under Ministry of Power, Government of India.

Mandatory Course : B.E. / B.Tech( Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering).Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized college /university.
Admission is based on the marks obtained in graduation.
