Tata Memorial Centre Junior Research Fellowships 2023:
The Institute Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, ACTREC, is a unique Institute under the wing of Tata Memorial Centre and a grant-in-aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy. ACTREC conducts a PhD program in Life Sciences that is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute (a deemed university under category “A” by MHRD, Govt. of India). Fulfilling its ‘bench-to bedside’ mandate, the Institute provides a highly conducive environment for world-class cancer research.
M.Sc. (Life Sciences)/M. Pharm or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
*M.Sc. degree having duration of one year course will not be considered.
Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence result-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.
Stipend: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) of Rs. 31000/+ 27% HRA per month (HRA is applicable only in case if hostel facility is not opted), which get converted into SRF based on fellow’s performance in the 3rd year. Limited hostel facility is available on first come, first served basis for the new entrants for a period of one year. Ph.D. scholars are also entitled to avail the In-house medical facility, local transport services.
Duration: Six months. The work progress of candidates will be monitored and extension after 6 months
